If I need multiple units of Tap Safe, can I get a key that works on them all?
All Uniquely Keyed Tap Safe boxes come with a unique lock and key as standard. If you would like to purchase multiple Tap Safe's and would like to access them all with the same key, chose our ‘Keyed the same’ option, where you will be provided with a set of keys that works on all units. Alternatively, you can choose our numbered padlock version.
How easy is it to install Tap Safe?
Tap Safe is easy to fit and fits over most standard UK outdoor taps. The wall mounted design makes it suitable for taps with concealed or exposed pipework feeding the tap from below or from above (ABOVE must be no greater than 100mm in length). It can be secured with wall plugs and screws. We do not supply the fixings as the type of fixings required will depend on where the unit is being installed.
Will Tap Safe stop my outside tap from freezing in the winter?
Tap Safe is designed to provide total protection your outside taps, including frost. The weather resistant construction helps to protect your taps from frost and freezing conditions. We do recommend, as an extra measure, in freezing conditions you isolate the water supply and cover the tap and any exposed pipework with suitable insulating material.
What options do I have for delivery?
